Zhou Ye donates bone marrow to save his sick mother, only to have his adopted son, Qin Tian, replace him. His mother, misunderstanding Zhou Ye, kicks him out of the house and plans to marry his fiancée, Pei Youran, to Qin Tian. Zhou Ye's adoptive father, Zhou Zhentian, decides to seek justice for him. At Zhou Ye's wedding, the Qin family mocks him and humiliates Zhou Zhentian with money. Zhou Zhentian finally forces them to back down by canceling all business dealings with the Qin family. The Qin family pretends to apologize, but Zhou Ye sees through their scheme and uncovers that Qin Tian bribed a doctor to alter the bone marrow donation records. Zhou Zhentian and Zhou Ye work together to expose the Qin family's lies. In the end, Qin Tian's true nature is revealed, and Zhou Ye and Pei Youran marry happily.
